Web Technology Lab

Web Technology refers to the various tools and techniques that are utilized in the process of communication between different types of devices over the internet. A web browser is used to access web pages. Web browsers can be defined as programs that display text, data, pictures, animation, and video on the Internet. Hyperlinked resources on the World Wide Web can be accessed using software interfaces provided by Web browsers. Web Technology can be classified into the following sections: The World Wide Web is based on several different technologies: WWW: Web browsers, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2018.

Software Engineering Lab

This lab deals with the analysis and design of a software problem .the tool used in a lab is rational rose .this tool is used for a object oriented design of a problem . We draw a uml diagram in a rational rose which deals with the objects and classes in a system .The Unified Modeling Language or UML is is a mostly graphical modelling language that is used to express designs. It is a standardized language in which to specify the artefacts and components of a software system. It is important to understand that the UML describes a notation and not a process. It does not put forth a single method or process of design, but rather is a standardized tool that can be used in a design process. The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2015.

Operating Systems lab

The goal of this course is to have students understand and appreciate the principles in the design and implementation of operating systems software. Introduction to operating systems concepts, process management, memory management, file systems, virtualization, and distributed operating systems. The laboratory exercises will include familiarization with UNIX system calls for process management and inter-process communication; Experiments on process scheduling and other operating system tasks through simulation/implementation. Finally, the students would require to apply the operating system concepts by experimenting on either xv6/minix operating systems. The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2015.

Object Oriented Programming with JAVA Lab

This lab reinforces understanding of basic object oriented programming concepts (objects, classes and subclasses, methods) and their expression in Java. It also provides practice using non-object aspects of Java (loops, conditionals, etc.). The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2015.

Data Science Lab

The depth and breadth of our Analytics experience and expertise can help deliver transformational outcomes for your organization and achieve the ultimate goal: growth! At our core is an unparalleled high-performance philosophy that puts the customer first and delivers value at each touch-point of the chain. Welcome to our world – where data drives success. The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2016.

Data Base Management Systems Lab

This lab is dedicated for students to work on practical experiments, projects and research work, related to courses such as Database Management Systems, Distributed Data Computing, Hadoop, Data Warehousing and Mining, and Big Data Analysis. The objective of this lab course is to understand the practical applicability of database management system concepts. Working on existing database systems, designing of database, creating relational database, analysis of table design.Oracle database is the most widely used object-relational database management software. The latest version of this tool is 12c where c means cloud computing. It supports multiple Windows, UNIX, and Linux versions. The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2014.

Computer Networks & Operating Systems Lab

lab course is involving in the development of your practical skills in Operating System Concepts and Networking Lab. This lab is an attempt to upgrade and enhance your theoretical skills obtained from theory to a practical environment. It will help you explore advanced local area network and wide area network administration provided by current Microsoft Windows 2000, LINUX and Unix network operating systems. Most of the exercises include installation and configuration of the networking services like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, etc. This section will help you work with the operating concepts of popular network operating systems and develop your skills to manage the real time networking using these operating systems. The current Lab facility was inaugurated in 2015.

Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning Lab

The lab focuses on the recent advances in some sub-areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI and ML). The major thrust areas presently being researched in this lab include Image and Video Content Analysis, Computer Vision, Neural Architecture Search, Medical Image computing and Probabilistic Machine Learning. Besides research, the lab also provides a strong foundation of Machine Learning to students and industry professionals by offering courses and labs in Machine Learning and related areas.
